Transport Joosen is a neutral carrier who’s specialized in the transport of containers. Our fleet, controlled by approximately 100 truck tractors and +- 300 drawn vehicles (2 curtain-sided trailers, 6 plateau trailers) are responsible for the transport of containers (20Ft up to 45 Ft) throughout Europe. For more than one year, we have a secure and fenced area (65.000m²) in the port of Antwerp. This allows us to offer many additional services such as the storage of full and empty containers. We can also clean or restore your containers if possible. Even for attaching or removing liners you can count on us.
Since early 2013 Transport Joosen also offers conventional transport of general goods, such as pallets-big bags-cartons-reels but also ADR goods, and both in part-load (LTL) and full loads (FTL). We offer transports throughout Europe, with a focus on France, Germany and Luxembourg. Read moreHome
In October 1994, the companions Frans and myself Kurt Joosen founded Transport Joosen NV in presence of a notary. We bought premises in the SME Zone d’ Hoef van Sint-Lenaarts. 6500 m2 seemed to be large enough. On this plot, we immediately started to build a garage, an office and an apartment.
On the 1st of April 1995, they were ready to be occupied. Through years of continuous growth, the premises in Brecht became too small and we had to look for a new property in the port of Antwerp.
From now on we are also situated in Antwerp on our premises ECH Ordamstraat, a gated and CCTV protected area of 25,000 m². Due to the growth of our activities we were forced to enlarge our premises along the Bellestraat (+- 65.000 m²). Although our headquarters still be situated in the Ordamstraat, our planning and administration are moved into the buildings on the property in the Bellestraat. This area is also fenced and secured including CCTV protection. Today, Transport Joosen is active in about 10 different countries with more than 200 vehicle combinations.
